One of the easiest superfoods to eat; extremely nutritious and delicious. Blueberries can beused for fruit, puree, juice, or dried or infused berries, which in turn may be used in, jams, blueberry pies, muffins, snack foods and with breakfast cereals, granola or with yoghurt. Blueberries can be frozen, ideally on a tray then bagged for use over time.
Good for Cancer, Diabetes, memory improvement, constipation, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, Macular degeneration, skin. It is suggested that consumption of polyphenols leads to better brain function and improvements in memory in the two to three hours after eating. (Good for exams!). Bad for allergies, kidney and bladder stones, pesticide residue (but not on our organic ones), intestinal irritation.
