Superfoods are a BIG subject and also, in our view unfortunately, BIG business.
With the massive effect of social media and the internet generally, hype can be created and taken to extremes and this is what we think has happened with many foods / supplements.
We try to portray our organic products as accurately as possible, particularly with the products that have been classified as 'superfoods'.
The fact is that the benefits of some of these foods have either not been scientifically tested on humans or that the tests performed are too small to be statistically accurate.
We don't mean to say that these foods are 'bad' only that we don't know that they are as 'super' as some people make out.
Similarly, some 'superfoods' are indeed, 'super' but only of you ingest them in unrealistic portions.
If you feel that any of our product descriptions are inaccurate, please let us know and we will look into it.
In the meantime, please shop and enjoy our products!
